Depth: 25-35 feet
Access: Shore Dive from Hale'iwa
Location: Hale'iwa, North Shore
Sealife: Turtles
Turtle Street is a half mile off Kaiaka Bay, just beyond Haleiwa
Trench. The coral reef is at depths of 25 to 30 feet. It has a variety
of arches, overhangs, tubes and caves. The top is split by a 60 yard
wide, 100 yard long crack. The turtles of the site's name can be found.
During the summer while we have boats moored in Haleiwa Aaron's visits
this site on our daily dive charters.
As with all North Shore sites, heavy surf makes the area generally unuseable
from late October throught mid April.
PADI courses offer the most comprehensive
and modern diver training available in the world today. PADI courses
are the only scuba courses to be recommended by the American Council
on Education for college credit hours.
Aaron's courses are approved for veteran's benefits.
