Blowhole

Depth:
0-35 feet
Access: Shore or Boat
Location: South Shore
Sea Life: Reef Fish, Eagle Rays

The waves at blowhole send fountains of spray skyward like the spouting of a whale, hence the name. The surge makes the dive dangerous in anything but flat, calm conditions. The shore entry / exit point is the beach used in "From Here To Eternity." You can also access the area by boat.

The dive is along a ledge which drops to 35 feet. Rocks are covered in coral with good quantities of reef fish in the area. Holes in the ledge hide eels and lobster. Be extra careful of the current, it can be too strong to swim against and could move you along the coast or out to sea. Start against the current and abort the dive if it is strong.

PADI courses offer the most comprehensive and modern diver training available in the world today. PADI courses are the only scuba courses to be recommended by the American Council on Education for college credit hours.

Aaron's courses are approved for veteran's benefits.
