On a dive trip April 18th, Mel took her group to a dive site called Turtles. While on their dive, a turtle swam up to the group. It had a fish hook in its mouth and fishing line wrapped around its flipper and twice around its neck. It held still for 10 minutes while she cut the line and untied the knot around its neck. Then it followed them back to the boat where she was able to cut the remaining line off. That was one lucky turtle, and lucky Aarons to have Mel on our team! Thank you Mel!
